THE END OF 300EX?
#1
Yesterday i went to my local Honda dealership to look at buying a 300ex and one of the salesman said that 00 is the last year for the 300ex and they just sold there last one that they will ever have, I live in Mississippi and he said that it is almost impossible to find one in the state, is this true about the last year for the 300ex, i hope not cause i was looking to buy one, thanks for any replies

This will not be the last year for the 300EX. Honda will continue to produce this sport quad because they still sell every unit that they make and it appeals to everyone that wants a sport quad, but wants reverse and a bit smaller motor.
I bought a 00' 300EX instead of the 400EX because it fits me better. They are both equally great machines and both have thier strong points. You buy the one that fits you best. The 300 is probaly the best trail quad on the market, and the 400 is probaly the best quad for the track.
Think about it for a minute. Why would Honda drop this model. They sell every unit that they produce. Even with the 400EX on the market.
My advice, find another dealer.

I found out today that the salesman was mixed up, 00 was the last year for the 2x4 and the 4x4 300's. He said that he was sorry about the mix up but im just glad to know that the 300ex will keep on going.
