Hi Guys, I would like to stop buying oil filters for my Rubicon from the dealer. I think that they are simply to expensive. Any idea of what brand (and part number) I should use? The same goes for the oil.
Thanks
Patrick

I buy my filters from AMSOIL online, little cheaper than dealer prices and I don't have a dealer nearby. Had good luck so far.

I know what you mean. The filters are expensive at the dealer. Ypu can use a WIX brand filter part # 24938. I have 2 rubicons myself I would still use the Honda gn-4 oil in them.
Do you know about the in and out 4wd to 2wd by Warn. I have installed them on both rubicons of mine and it make all the difference performance and fuel they are not to hard to install

In Canada, the cheapest place I have found to buy parts for Quads and Sleds is from royaldistributing.com out of Ontario. They have pretty good pricing and availability and shipping is pretty reasonable. They have quite a wide variety of OEM and aftermarket parts too. I bought brakes and oil filters for one of my old Honda's from them and the parts were almost half the price even after shipping as to what I would pay a local Honda dealer.

All my buddies that ride Rubicon's use just regular Pensoil 10w-40 and have had no problems.
