I noticed that after I rode the Blaze for a little bit that it was getting harder and harder to find neutral. So tonight I decided to take it for a little ride and started her up, pulled in the clutch and put it in first and it started to move forward just slightly. Needless to say the clutch needs adjusted, I have adjusted many manual clutch's but never a hydraulic. I read the manual, but it is fairly vague. I also read back through the previous posts, but the only thing that I could find was to adjust the red **** that controls the lever position. This doesn't sound correct to me, as I read it the red adjuster was simply to set the placement of the lever for those with smaller or larger hands? I could be wrong, any help would be appreciated!

You are right the red adjuster is just for lever distance but it still does have an effect on the amount the clutch plates are seperated.
I am going from memory its been a while since I adjusted one.
1)Pull off clutch cover
2)take cover off master cyl(clutch lever res)
3)loosen nut on adjuster in center of basket(allen screw with nut you will need tool to hold or use snapring pliers in slots)
4)turn allen screw in until it stops back it out 3 turns.
5)tighten locknut, check fluid level button it all back up.

I run spectro gearoil it has the clutch basket on the bottle.
Also take the lever off the clutch and clean and lube it it needs to be free or the clutch wont self adjust.

Two tips to add to the above post.Raise the left tires off the ground about 8 to 12 inches and you wont loose any oil when you remove the side cover and make shure you get that lock nut tight when you finish or it will back off and your cluth will stop pulling.I did mine before a race and I didnt tighten the lock nut enough and well I DNf'ed

Good luck if you need more help let me know and I will try and help.

Thanks guys, I will give it a try tomorrow. I was wondering about the transmission oil, it didn't say anything about it in the manual. Sounds easy enough, thanks for the help!

It seems to go away after about 1o hours of use. Ride it somemore before you adjust it and see if it goes away like mine did.

Ok, I tried to adjust the clutch lever out to compensate. But the lever was already adjusted all the way out, so I brought it closer to the handlebars and it made it worse. I cannot get it into neutral when it is running with the clutch lever pulled in, but when I shut off the engine it shifts into neutral perfectly. I guess I will pull off the clutch cover and adjust it like the manual says, I can hardly believe that it would need adjusting after only 15 min. of riding but it obviously does.

My clutch was like that when my quad was brand new....hard to shift into neutral when the bike was running....actually almost impossible. After riding it for a couple of hours, I guess the clutch wore in and now I can shift into neutral easier. I'm hoping this is how it works, and I didn't just smoke my clutch.

It will stop after it breaks in. Don't change anything!

Well it has gotten worse since I started riding it. When I first picked it up last weekend I could get it into nuetral while running, but not now. It also moves forward when in gear and the clutch lever pulled. That can't be right!
