Cannondale FX400

I contacted a lady at Cannondale to ask a couple of questions and here's the scoop. It won't be available until Fall 2001 so all of the other rumors that have been spread are fals. I asked twice to be sure I understood correctly. The list M.S.R.P. at the factory is approximately 6900.00
True it's going to be the baddest of machines and I'll definitely get one, but for everyone who's in a hurry, TOO BAD!!! If you want to know more details about the engine and frame, check out Cannondale's web page and check under the engine and frame sections. The crankcase oil and engine oil are going to be in separate compartments. The oil container is actually one side of the frame, not only lightening the engine, but also supercooling the oil with the aluminum frame. I can't wait!

The engine is designed and built by Cannondale. It's top of the line technology. Just think , fuel injection which means no more rejetting. I'm not sure what you mean by HP's. If you mean dealers, Cannondale's web page also lists all of the dealer's. You can find one in your area that way.

I think that is to their credit, not a negative.
I would much rather wait for a properly engineered, well thought out product, than have them put out a buggy POS, just for the sake of getting it in the marketplace.
There are too few companies (esp American) out there willing to take the extra time to "make it right" vs crank out some quick profit...
