Default Hiper tech carbon fiber wheels on ebay?

There are a set of carbon fiber wheels with tires on ebay. What do you think they are worth? And are they even worth getting? This is where they are. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1867659486

I have 2 sets of the carbon fiber wheels and would not even consider going back to aluminum wheels .Make sure that they r the Tech 2 wheels .Ive had mine for 2 years .I had a leaking problem at first when they came out ,I called them and they sent out new center sections with the new sealing O ring and havent had a problem since .They suit my purpose just fine

Good point. I think I will stick with the Douglass 190's. After looking into it more, they only have a 10x5 for the front which is to narrow with wrong offsets front & rear, and the forum seems to go more toward worst than better than alum wheels. Thanks for all the input.

If they r so bad why would u ask to exchange them for your 400 EX.You r the only person i have ever seen on this forum to ever have the vast amount of problems u claim to have, it seems to me that maybe it might have been an install problem on your part . Just seems funny to me that so many people have good luck with those wheels but u cant .

I had them and I have to agree with Marky Nark they make the DS too narrow for the dunes. I all so found they added too much air pressure during rides. I started a morning ride with 6 lbs of air had over 10 after three hrs of ridding. I all so know they due not work for desert racing too narrow again. I know of one case where a rear bead lock blew off before the first check point of a race causing a DNF.
