Battery went dead, tach died?!?!
#1
I was riding the Saturday and all the sudden everything died. ZERO power. Checked the fuses and they were fine. So I changed the battery, becasue this happened to me once before. The battery had a dead cell. Put the new battery in and it started and ran fine. Looked at my tach and nothing. It wasnt working. When the battery went bad, did something fry in the tach? What wires can I look at to make sure its still hooked up? The light still works in the tach so I think its getting power. Help me trouble shoot this thing. Thanks.

Look at the Big Black wire (I think there is actually a small green wire inside of the black) But that wire comes out of the tach and goes down to some little box (That is where it reads the rpm's)
I have a pic that i can send to you if you want (Home drawn!!!) That's why it looks like crap
