which one is faster??

 

In a race where you go up to 5th on dale and stop the cannondale is way faster than a stock banshee like every gear the dale will pull about 2 lengths by the time you hit 5th its about 8 lengths ahead now if you keep going and till they hit the rev limiter the Banshee will eventually catch and pass the cannondale but that takes probably a mile to happen we did testing and even switched riders same results.The dale will pull such a big lead most guys will give up.

 

I too have beaten the Banshee on drags and on the trails. I used to own one. The Dale is much better handling. The hardest thing to give up was the two stroke feel. But when you get used to a 4-Stroke, it would be hard to go back.

 

C-dale is faster out of the box, but if you start modifying the banshee has a lot more potential.

 

Yes modified will be faster probably would need pipes,carbs,hicomp head.Pipes alone isnt enough.Then we can talk about handling,front end weight,suspension and the ability to get the power to the ground.Power isnt all that is important other things can make a big difference.

 

The question is not about handling or suspension. It simply asks which one is faster. If they are both just piped and the banshee has been rejetted and the cannondale has the moto map the cannondale will beat the banshee by a good distance. I have a 15 tooth front sprocket so in 5th gear I have never hit the rev limiter. I am not saying that it won't hit the limiter, but I never have. So the piped banshees cant even catch me on the top end.

 

But if you're really into drag racing... you can make those Shee's SCREAM.

 

I agree 100%. Those banshees can really run when modded out.

 

i agree with a modded banshee being fast in a stright line butttttt put it on a mx track. we have not been beat yet by a banshee on the rack and that includes holeshots. most of the banshees we have ran aganst on the track were far from stock too.

 

I agree w/ mark- a banshee is faster in strait lines w/ mods than on a mx track W/ mods.A cannon dale is faster stock though.I dont know of a stock Quad that is faster than a cannondale.

But you come to the 300ft dirt drag and the fastest Quads out there will be screamin banshees runnin w/ cut gears on alky
