the banshee and cannondale would be close on pavement. on dirt the cannondale would be faster. neither one of them are better than the 250r though. the 250r is the best quad ever made!

 

lets see if i get this right. take a ds that wont beat a dale and change sprokets and it will. so what you think the dale is gonna do if you change its sprokets, get slower: yea right

 

a Dale is one of the most over priced over rated junkers ive ever seen and bad ugly. My friends has been in the shop 90% of its life. tell me speed is what you want but reliablity is the key have speed and reliablity wit a ds650.

DS and cannondale are two quads designed for two different users around here a few guys have tried mx on DS none of them ran more than a couple races with the dales it is just the opposite.I wont even start with the reasons a DS isnt competitive on MX or harescrambles,x-country you now darn well what they are in desert or maybe even wide trails DS is a great quad if your buddy is having his quad in the shop 90% of time either his dealer doesnt know what he is doing to fix this thing or the freind isdoing something very wrong.locally we have three guys running cannondales at all the mx point races 16 races no dnfs all of us finished in the top ten in points.Two of us also ran a couple nationals,three harescrambles(2hr races),numerous fri.night races and a few trail rides to boot I try to see the positives of a given model (while neg cant be ignored)maybe you should open your eyes a little Bombardier is.I talked to a guy who works at a local foundry they are making a new aluminum swingarm for bombardier I would be willing to bet they will have something like the dale,z400,predator till that time dont even start to compare a DS to a Cannondale.

 

yeah duneman, i've blown up two motors in my dale by pulling the sherman tank ds off the track and out of everybody's way!! i hope ds does lighten that tank up, would save everybody else alot of problems! maybe your friend has had the same problem as i have
