I AM LOOKING FOR SOME NEW WHEELS FOR MY WIFE. SHE IS PRETTY GOOD WITH HER KAWASAKI MOJAVE AND HER WARRIOR BUT, SHE HAD SOME ANKLE SURGERY AND HAS LOST ALOT OF MOBILITY AND HAS A HARD TIME SHIFTING. I AM NOT LOOKING FOR ANYTHING TOO BIG. HOW DOES THE TRAIL BOSS COMPARE?
ITS ALOT HEAVIER I SEE, BUT CAN IT MOVE OUT OF ITS OWN WAY. I THINK A SCRAMBLER MAY BE TOO BIG AND I KNOW A TRAIL BLAZER HAS NOTHING UNDER THE HOOD. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THE TRAIL BOSS. BY THE WAY THE MOJAVE AND WARRIOR ARE FOR SALE. CALL ME IF YOU'RE INTERESTED.

the 330 steers a lil easier than the 325.

the 325 seems to have a tad better low end power and the 330 has a bit more top end.


i like the rear rack on the 325 better, but the 330 comes with both stock,altough you can add a front rack to the 325,wich is lager than the stock 330's one.


and if ya want a good deal on a 325 our shop has em for sale $3500 out the door, no tax no dealer prep.

My trailboss is faster than a stock Trailblazer but a modified Tblazer would outrun my Tboss. Besides almost all of the Polaris quads has similar dimensions, and weight. I would buy her a Scrambler, a tblazer(stock) is slower than a Warrior and a little slower than a Mojave. Besides she might want something with a little more pep, so I would take her and let her ride a scrambler.

 

The 325 and 330 are both good ATV,s.And The TB has alot of potential.Mine is fast and didnt cost a lot to do.If you go with the Trailboss get a clutch kit and she will be happy with it.They do have alot of power but no bottom end.Clutching will take care of that!It is a real nice ride,expecially on those all day rides.

 

My Lakota will absolutely SMOKE my buddies '01 jetted/clutched Trailboss. I would take her to let her ride one 1st. Going from a Mojave and Warrior, she may not be all that excited about it.

My Lakota tops out around 57-58. I suspect the Trailboss tops out 48-50. However, the ride is nice. It's not a sporty handling quad by any means. It's a good cruiser for a long days ride, if your just gonna cruise. The Trailboss is so freaking big and heavy, though. JMO.

with all those mods I'd hope you blow away a stock trailboss. I don't see how you can compare yours to a stock trailboss.

 

Well, it's really not a comparison. Although, my Lakota is all I have to compare it to. However, the original post said she was coming off a Mojave and Warrior. A Warrior will beat my Lakota. So, that is why I recommended that she ride it 1st. Since it is quite a bit slower. And, even when it was stock, there was not any competitiion, either. Also, he has jetted it (Dyno Jet kit) and put a clutch kit in, with a green spring, SO, it's not completely stock. But, point taken.

 

The TrailBlazer has nothing under the hood? There is now may a TrailBoss will out do a Blazer. (Stock) The TrailBlazer is a quicker and much more responsive to modifications. (TrailBoss 325 13 HP), (TrailBlazer 22 HP)
