Default SP 700 OIL FILTER

I found this in the search topic, this shold help and a lot cheaper.
NAPA has two part #1356 filters. Make sure you ask for the Gold Series. It is their better filter and is the one that costs $6.49. The standard #1356 is appx. $4.00. I have been running the Gold Series #1356 for quite sometime now with no problems whatsoever.

This should fit right on your 700.

My 500HO takes a 51358 by wix and a 1358 by NAPA. Do a search on the forms for oil filters to make sure you have the correct #s. Wix (NAPA) are the best filters on the market. I think the 1358/51358 is the correct filter.

I believe the 700 filter is different then the 500. And I did the search and those are the numbers that came up.

The 500HO and the SP700 do not use the same filters. The NAPA 1356 Gold Series is the correct part number for the SP700.

Where did you buy your 700? Allied Powermart in Conroe is outstanding dealer for sales and service and normally has the best prices on parts.

I HAVE A BUDDY IN EL PASO WHO PURCHASED HIS 500 HO FROM A DEALER IN LAS CRUCES AT A VERY GOOD PRICE. SO I CALLED LAS CRUCES AND GOT HIS PRICE. THEN I CONTACTED ALL OF THE HOUSTON AREA DEALERS FOR A PRICE.

HOUSTON DEALERS WERE $500-$1,000 HIGHER, INCLUDING ALLIED WHO WAS $700 HIGHER. THE ONLY LOCAL DEALER WHO WOULD MATCH THE NEW MEXICO PRICE WAS POLARIS WEST IN KATY. INCIDENTLY, POLARIS WEST STARTED OUT HIGHER THAN EVERYONE ELSE, BUT IN THE END, HE WAS THE LOWEST.

ALLIED WAS MY FIRST CHOICE BECAUSE I HAD EXPERIENCED GOOD SERVICE THERE IN THE PAST, BUT THE LADY ASST SALE MGR WOULD NOT BUDGE OFF THE PRICE. I PREFER TO KEEP MY PURCHASE DOLLARS IN THE LOCAL ECONOMY, BUT IT DOES HELP TO COMPARE OUTSIDE PRICES.

WEEDY,

I'M INTERESTED IN FINDING PLACES TO RIDE IN AND AROUND HOUSTON, DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS?

MY RIDING STYLE IS MILD, MUD AND SPEED ARE NOT WHAT I LIKE TO DO. I PREFER SLOW RIDES WHERE YOU GET TO SEE THE COUNTRYSIDE PREFERBLY IN THE WOODS OR NATIONAL FOREST. I LOVE TO LOOK FOR TRACKS AND OBSERVE THE WILDLIFE.

I LIKE TO KEEP MY MACHINE AS CLEAN AS POSSIBLE AND WELL MAINTAINED THATS WHY I WOULD RATHER GO AROUND MUD THAN THROUGH IT.

GIVE ME A CALL AT 713-896-6889 AND LETS DISCUSS RIDING OPPORTUNITIES.
