I went to NAPA yesterday to buy an oil filter and they could not come up with anything from the number off the AC filter. Would appreciate it if someone could provide me with the correct filter numbers for some of the common brands.

I can't remember the numbers, but if you do a search for oil filter, you should find them.

 

I performed a search before posting and I found one for my particular model dated back in April. However, someone replied that they had tried the various filters and they did not fit correctly. I thought maybe someone would have an update by now.

 

I dont know if these guys ship to the states, but I don't think you could get any cheaper than this price. The exchange rate makes it worthwhile...Check this link out...

NAPA 1359 been using them on both my 400 ,the 01 and 02 , never had one problem yet ,700 bucks now , I used a fram 6018 last time only because wallmart was 6 bucks , hope this is what you needed . next time tell them to look up a suzuki 500 quad runner same filter ,

Would those part #'s work in a '03 400...

I'm not sure because its a different engine this year....

 

Don't know on the '03 400, that is the air cooled engine. I used the STP smo-18 on my AC 500 last change. This filter is a motorcycle filter... Don't know if that is better or worse than the others?
