Sounds like Arctic Cat's getting a good name going for them! My buddy's gotta polaris 500HO (2001) and the damn thing has like 600 miles and won't even idle, and the rear-suspension is all out of whack. Pulls cuz the independent isn't adjusted right. I'm liking the sound of these arctic-cats and might talk my pops into getting one instead of a Kodiak? what do you all think? thanks.

I think you should at least get him to go and test ride one.I have about 1500 miles on my 2002 400i and any problem that I have had with it was my fault.Good luck.

 

I'm thinking about it still.. my only drawback is that the 400's are not liquid cooled. anyone had any overheating problems with them?

 

We have the 02' 375, which is the same machine as the '03 400 act autos. It never shows a sign of overheating. It has a HUGE oil cooler (same size as the radiator on my '02 400) and the cooling fan on the 375 comes on LESS often. Frankly, I don't think you could overheat it if you tried!

 

No trouble with overheating, in fact the fan doesn't all that much compared to my friend's Sportsman 500HO's. Pechmial hit the nail on the head.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
