Anyone have any suggestions on where to put the license plate on the Baja? Didn't worry about it at first but their getting pretty fussy here about having your plate on your bike and I really can't find a place for the thing.Tried a few spots but it really looks out of place everywhere I've tried.Help!

 

If it was me I would mount in somewhere on the front bumper, because regardless of location it is going to look out of place. That sucks that they are actualy enforcing the law around you.

 

Oh they're enforcing the law pretty good here lately .There's been a few "acting up" lately so everyone else has to pay.They've even headed a big Suburban down through the bike trails here just to check the bikes and even have seized and towed at least one, so I guess its time to stick the plate on and avoid the trouble.

 

Wow that really sucks, but I know what ya mean when you say we all have to be punished for a few acting up irresponsible people.

i mounted mine behind the rear light on the plastic piece that comes down, it will look like this wen finshed,

 

I used flat bar drilled a couple holes in it and bolted it to the tail light bolts.So it mounts just below the tail light .The bolt holes on the tail light are the same width as the holes in the lic plate.Ontario plate that is!

 

I did mine same as Illnotts. Went to TAP Plastics and had them cut me a piece of plastic then drilled a couple holes in it and mounted with zip ties. Would have rather used Aluminum but, couldn't find any that cheap. The plastic was less than a buck and it is tucked up away pretty good so, probably won't have to worry about breaking.

 

Great idea to put it there . Doesn't look out of place at all . Didn't really want it stuck out in the open to much and that looks like the ideal spot.

 

Are there not two holes behind the light for it already???
