The other day a buddy of mine went riding with me, and he rides a stock 400ex with a lrd full system, and a K&N filter, and was rejetted, he said that if both machines were stock with the just the full exhaust sytem, and a K&N, his lrd will stomp a curtis sparks system , i would have settled it there but my 400ex is more modified than his, please help on which pipe is the best!!!

 

Sparks hands down. I have a friend with a complete lrd system and my 400ex with the x-6 will out run his 400ex. He has an advanced timing key and it is bored to 416(maybe bigger) among other things. He is always trying to get my x-6.

 

The Sparks pipe and LRD pipe are both good pipes. But I think the edge would have to go the Sparks pipe. I think they have more power through out the entire rev than the LRD.

thanks, i thought the same thing too i just wanted to make sure because the only thing that i like about my x-6 is the power, but it is one ugly pipe

 

ohhh yeah, and do yall think the x-6 is the best sytem for the 400ex, if not what do you think is??? because im looking to get one on my dads 400ex, much thanks

 

Sparks X-6 and I think they look GOOD!
