hi guy's.
i drive a grizzly, and am looking into a second quad, for my wife. she is not into the driving part so much, but loves to be out there. in michigan, driving 2 on a quad will get ya a quick trip to the impound to get your quad back, lol. she has seen the cat's 2 up quad. since it is a legal 2 seater, then i can legally drive it in michigan??? how is this quad? any info on it yet? releace date? any info would be great, including the price, lmao!!!
thanks all.

I sat on the Cat 2 seater a week ago at the Snowmobile show in Novi, MI. I was talking to a factory rep. He stated that yes indeed the 2 seater will/is legal in MI. The way the law is written it says that if the seat is mfg for 2 riders, which it is. then it is legal. We had a real nice talk. I asked him when they would be production. The response was about March timeframe. Expect MSRP to be ~$7000. I sat on it, and I sure wish they were out in May when I bought my 2002 Cat. I would have had to think seriously about getting this one. The seat is removable to allow for extra cargo when riding solo. Real nice idea. They should sell a bunch of them .

Sounds good to me, can't wait for them to come out. Personally I think the recent move to market 2-up wheelers is a great thing for ATVing. With a MSRP of $7000 is a reasonable amount considering big bores are selling for that or more.
