Default Can't wait for the RancherAT

Just thought I would let you all know, I cannot wait for the new Rancher AT 400 to arrive this spring. Currently, I have a 2001 Rancher 4X4 (foot shift) and its the best for me. However, the new Rancher is going a step further by an increasing engine displacement and adding Honda's TraxLok system. My plan is to purchase the Rancher AT when it comes out this spring and give my current Rancher to my wife. Next, I will most likely buy the Detroit Gearless locker. Together the Gearless locker and the TraxLok system will make this new Rancher the ultimate midsize utility ATV. There's only one obstacle I can foresee, is getting used to shifting with my thumb.

I like the idea of the 400 engine, and for me anything bigger or heavier than a Rancher an abomination!! But, there have been more than a few posts about electronic problems with the Rubicon automatic transmission (like the one the Rancher will have). I have never had any electronic problems with my foot!!

YZGUY, That's exactly why I love the Rancher, it has the perfect blend of weight, maneuverability, and yes sportyness. How great would it be if Honda gave the option to have a foot shift with the digital display? What do you all think the price is going to be? I believe it will be priced in between the Forman 450 4x4ES ($6,399) and the current Rancher 350 4x4ES ($5,399) or about $5,899.
