I just fit one to the lakotas engine. I found the tuning was very close to the mojave's. I used 2 turns out on the air/fuel mixture screw and one shim under the needle. and ofcourse what ever main worked for you.
I did have a problem with this one thow that kept me on the go around. It had a 38 pilot where a 35 is what I'm use to seeing in them, but when I put the 35 pilot in with one shim it worked graet.
But for you, run that thing at the part of the pause see if the plugs black. When they are lean they tend to back fire in the mid range on de-excelleration. Also braeks up alot. When they have like a pause or blubber and then take off when they pass it usually is rich

I have no experience with this pipe at all. But with some pipes no jetting is required. With alot of them just bumping the main up is all you need. The only reason I ever had to mess with mojave or lakota's needles was with clamp on installation, but not all of them. I realy think one shim is more than enough and don't be surprised if you don't need any.
But I have no idea about that pipe. I really reccomend pulling both shims out and then stick one in if you think it needs it.
Alot of poeple tell me the same story but it always was before they bumped the main up that they shimmed the needle and it worked rite. In these cases shimming the needle richened the mid range so much it gave them some pertection on the main. But once you bump the main you need to go back and lean out the needle as now it is running way rich.
I would deffinately pull both of them out and start over. I am almost possitive you won't need more than one. I haven't seen one need more than one yet, but that doesn't mean some need two, just haven't seen one.

Whats up gaff! Never been on here before so this is all new to me. I have a 01 Lakota and wanted to do some stuff to it. I seen you had alot of mods done to your lakota and was wondering if you can tell me were to go to get some of that stuff. So far just a IDS2 and K&N Air filter and Jet kit,but Id like to do more to It. If you can help me out that would be cool!
