Has anyone put a CD player into their quad or do they sell one? It doesn't seem liek it is that much of a job to do it custom. A cd player, a few wires, some duct tape.....!!BAM!! a quad with a stereo. I wonder if you guys have every put a sub woofer on. That would be cool. A quad with hydrolics(seen it juevos grandes), a stereo, plus all the mods nessesary to put you ahead of the pack. Talk about the perfect quad.

i met a guy that custom built a fiberglass box with a radio in it, and it hooked to his front rack. it was pretty slick looking. he said that the only part that he has trouble with was keeping water from splashing in the speakers. later.

300exRiderJay,

My neighbor has made the set up you are talking about for the front of his Rancher rack. He made a box set the unit inside it with holes cut out on the sides with what I believe are water proof speakers and since the rancher has a good power point supply, it works.

i dont think it will be a good idea because you wont be able tp hear it over the engine. if you HAVE to listen to music while you ride, get a portable player and put the headphones in the helmet

My neighbor doesn't use his while he is riding.

Its when they have stopped at a remote spot and are cillin with friends is when it is in use.

Even if i was serious gonna do it i wouldn't do it while i was riding on account of I couldn't hear my engine. And i would only do it for when im stopped and just kindof hanging out on the side of the trail.

I teach all day...sit in front of a computer half the night working....tv blasting half the time, stereo blasting the other half...the last thing i wanna hear when i'm on my bike is a stereo...i won't even take the cell phone with me....all the same, if you're wondering if it can be done, there are lots of people who've done it..i have seen links in these forums to pictures and also instructions of how to install it....do a search and see what you come up with...
