Just curious, what kind of warranty plans are you guys getting with your predators?, Not trying to scare anyone just wondering, I'm an polaris owner myself and pondering on something new, so ride them hard!!!!later......

 

I decided to get a three year one with mine... just in case there was a duplication of the first-year Raptor...

I will be adding the 4 year warranty to mine when it comes. I'm hoping it will be in next week. I need the longest Warranty I could get because I barely ride due to my schedule. Heck our 2000 SP335 still only has 250mi. We will fix that this year. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

It comes with the standard 6 month warrenty, and from what I was told by my dealer, it can be extended to 4 years for about $400. I'm going with the full 4 1/2 years. Not because it's a Polaris, or that its a totally new quad, but just because it makes sense! My bud has a 2001 Raptor, and he hasn't had any of the 2001 problems. His problem was a stator plate going out and the Starter Clutch going out. The stator would have cost $425 with labor and parts. Already paid for his extended warrenty!!

 

I have the 6 mth warranty. I was told I have untill the before the 6 mths are up to extend to the 3 year warranty for 400.00. Iam kinda lucky, my brother is a ex polaris machinic . He said he will be able to keep the predator running. He told me under polaris warranty if its a very big claim they would try and get the owner to cover some of the costs of repair , by saying it was from abuse or wasn't covered. I guess you pays your money and takes your chances.

 

I bought the 4 year extended warranty. I don't normally believe in extended warranties but, it's a first year release and not much is known for sure about it.
