Default 300ex or blaster

What should I buy? What is the top speed of the 300ex? It is a 5 speed manual clutch with electric and kick start right? What are any known problems? This will be my first quad that I actually own, but I have ridden a lot before. What are some good mods and aftermarket companies? I will be doing quite a bit of trail riding and some jumping, power slides, roosting, ect. I am 5'2" and 105. What year would you reccomend that I could get for aroung 1200 to 1400? Any sugestions are appreciated!

300ex only has electric start. Top speed is around 54 and blaster is around 59. Blaster has more speed and is cheaper but is smaller, kick start, no reverse, and loud(only bad if noise is a factor). To top it all off, it is a 2 stroke compared to a 4 stroke, more power but more maintnence and the 300ex is a HONDA and has the honda reliabilty. If money is your concern though, or you dont mind the maintnece get the blaster but if you want the honda reliabilty and less maintnece plus reverse, get the 300ex. I picked the 300ex.

Umm i raced tons of blasters when my 300ex was stock and beat them all. Drag by the way. I thiunk that blasters are cheap and unrelieable. I love my 300ex , well i have tons done to it , but i loved it when it was stock too. I think you know my opinion.Thanks.
