Well due to one thing or the other DSaholic,DemonDS and Batoutahell will not be attending the event. I'd still like to go to 4SW and have arranged the time off etc. However I'm not inclined to drive the 14+ hrs each way solo. So is there anybody that will be passing thru SLC on their way to glamis from this region of the Country? If so PM me and we'll see where it goes.

Yeah, I am not going either, things just happen. Priorities have shifted and what can I say, I am just not going to be able to make it.

The thing that really sucks is I wasnt even in the wreck......just my truck was. I guess i have to testify possibly that when the photos were taken of my truck that no repairs had been done to the areas that were involved with the accident. Obviously none were due to the fact there was hardly even a wreck in the first place. The thing I am most affraid of is when i see this ...ewwww almost swore up a storm for a second... guy I dont know how i will react, I will be lucky if I dont end up with charges after it is all over. mark my words I will tell this guy every bit of what i think of him, and anyone who knows me personaly knows it wont be pretty!!!!

 

Majorecho, I assume you're taking a quad with you??? The reason I ask is that I could potentially go the SLC route and pick you up but I can only carry my 1 quad in my truck. I'm towing a travel trailer.

You could drain the fliuds out of the quads and put them on thier grab-bars. I see people hauling quads like that at little Sahara. Doing it that way you can haul 2 full sized quads in a full-size short bed(tailgate up).

Depending on the route I take it's about 1150 to 1300 miles. So, from SLC it's about 750 or so I guess. SLC is the shorter route for me and I would either go that way or through Denver, new mexico, arizona way which is a little longer.

Oh, yes I'm driving solo.

I'm driving a F150 with a 6.5' bed.... Not sure how easily we could get 2 machines in there????
