just got back from the oregon coast and the local dealer there had a perator set up for the dunes so we had to race, i was rather surprized how well it ran. he had there after market pipe, dropped the front sprocket 1 tooth, k&n on the carb. i raced him twice and found out it was what my ds is. then i went to talk to him some more, and he told me take it for a ride, so i did. it pulls well and it handled the whoops well, maybe a little better than the ds, the front seemed a little lighter. i raced my wife with her ds several times, and was in the race often with it. the front end is a lot lighter than the ds. the whoops were good going up hill but the trip down, showed the tank and seat to be thin and i tended to slide forward on it. which caused me to think i would want nerfs on that machine. over all i found it to be a nice machine, but both my wife and i agree that we will be keeping the ds's. oh and it has a rev limiter that sucks also. well if you get the chance ride one it was a plasant experience.

Polaris does, and it's Predator [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] I just bought one, due in four weeks, I won't give up my DS but I wanted something alittle more lighter and nimbler for the trails, from what I've read, i made a good choice. I just posted some video over in the Polaris section of my Predator beating a Cannondale Speed 440 multiple times up the dunes at Sand Mountain in Nevada.

Two weeks prior (before I piped it and dropped the sprocket down a tooth) I was beating a friend's piped and jetted Raptor up the same hill.
