Default Bypassing Computer

Does anyone know how to bypass the computer so that I can start my 2000 rancher ES while it is in gear?

After looking at wiring diagram it would be a PITA.. Also i would be afraid that in bypassing the gear postion sensor id Fry the ECU. Their not cheap. Doubt that it would fry it , Most likley lock its self out since it notices something is amiss. Be easier to just shift to N to start. Siince ya have to start in the basement of the tranny to get moving . 1st or 2nd gear starting out ,

The only problem I have is I am in N but the gear indicator shows 5th, and will not change. I know I can eliminate all the electronics and make it a normal internal combustion engine but I want to keep the spedo and odometer. I'm not sure what to do at this point, I won't take it to honda. They have done more damage than good.
