Here in Minnesota we have been having a very mild winter. For us who love winter, it sucks big time!!!

Yesterday, on Coon Lake, two people went throught the ice. One survived and the other (a 21 year old) did not!!! I was out on the lake just the other day. The ice is 10" in one spot and 4" in another and open in other places...very inconsistent!!!

There have been a lot of other ice related accidents so far this year. Please be aware of the dangers of riding the ice this year. Especially at night!!! With out snow the ice looks black and so does the open water. We don't want to lose any more people on the lakes!!!!

I know it has been all over the media, but some of us die hard ice men need a little MORE reminding!!
