My friend had a sportsman 335 that he's having problems after the engine has been running for several hours and you start up a hill the engine tries to stall. He has carried the bike to 2 different dealerships and they say it just needed tunning up and the charge the crap out of him and we get to the trails and the same thing happens. I wouldnt be so bad but it seems to happen at the worst possible time, just before hitting the peak on a large hill.And after doing this it will continue to do this on level ground when you rev the engine. So I tried some things to see what would happen. First of all I tried holding down the reverse limiter and going wide open in reverse, it would not cut out. So I tried going forward and holding down the limit switch It still cut out, so I traced back the wire going to the gear shift box and unplugged the red and white stripped wire. by doing this the neutral light doesnt work but it seemed to fix the problem. BUT every once in a while when climbing large hills just before you get to the top it cuts out, even with the limiter off.??? Any Ideas.

 

I had simmilar problems with my trail Boss, it was kinda like the rev limiter was on and sombody was holding the brakes. My dad tryed to get off and push while it was doing this crap and he finally got it rolling and it ran him over it was funny, I replaced my belt and it fixed the problem and seemed faster, I'd bet that's the problem
