Default 03 700 Sportsman Grease Fittings

Maybe I'm blind but I can't see any grease fittings on the front axle u-joints or the front prop-shaft like the owner's manual shows. The only grease fittings I see are the ones for the ball joints. Has anyone else greased their 03 700? If so please tell me what to look for.

Roll the machine aways and look closely. I saw a 2003 at the dealer and it had the grease fittings.

I saw grease fittings on a 700 and a 600 in the dealer showroom, but this one I just bought has no grease fittings on the u-joints. The build date on this machine is 11-14-02. The center of the u-joints are smooth on both sides.

You won't find hardly any on the 03 Polaris's. They are doing away with them so you can have more time riding and less time on maintance. This is what we were told by Polaris. I looked like a confused dog, the first time I heard that.
Seriously though, the only place I think you might find one, is under the headlight pod, by the top of the steering stem. I could be wrong, that one might have got the axe too because it could take a while to find and greese. LOL!!!

I have seen the same question pop up a few times now on different forums. It seems that Polaris may have gone with sealed u-joints on the latest machine, that would leave only 3 grease fittings.
