Default Predator Night Prowling

Back from a day-long into the night ride (wanted to check out the lights again). Blasting through the woods, the low beams really light things up great. At different times I'd hit the high-beams....kinda a wierd broadened "halo" effect. This didn't work well for the woods/trails, but maybe out in the desert/dunes they would have greater effectivity. Looks like I found another excuse to truck this thing down to Little Sahara this year, they do let you run the sand at night, don't they?

Keepin' on softening the stiff factory shock settings, the ride keeps getting better, and better...wonder if they're shipped stiff to help stabilize the machine in the crate? I think I've backed my front spring preload off almost 1" now, and I still need to go further on the rear. The fronts are dead on great control. Kept working the quad on a 3/4 mile whoop section (gonna sleep great tonight). Taking the time to set this thing up drastically improved times. Can't wait to get a set of nerfs on this thing, get kinda spoiled with the added protection.

These 50 degree days are limited up here in January, can't wait til summer!!!

KEN,

Sounds like you had a large time

I managed to get the street ride out a while this afternoon & blow some dust off

Curious regarding your suspension tuning - how much you weigh in full riding gear?

Happy Trails,
Randy

Rootbeer belly and all (traveling put a damper on hockey this year) around 200.

Its amazing to me how awesome and intense these lights are..............the 200watt stator output keeps them bright and steady even at idle........maybe its the lowly output and flicker flicker of Yamaha products (my banshee and warrior) but even the neighbors say how bright and nasty those twin stabbing beams of light look when my Preddytor snakes up their driveway......

Anyone notice that not only does the rear brake light illuminate with the foot brake, but also the front brake lever too!

Nice.
