I have a 250 recon and my neighbor always blows me away with his 400 scrambler X. Im thinkin bout gettin a 300ex. Do you think i could keep up with him with some good upgrades on a 300ex???????

 

I've ran a Scrambler 400 before with my 300ex, the Scrambler is just a little faster, mostly in the top end.

 

isn't the scrambler 400 a 2-stroke? Or is that another polaris? All I know is that there is no way in he!! a 300ex would be close to a 400 2 stroke.

Stock vs stock, in a straight line, the 400 will smoke the 300. Take them to the trails, and the 400 gets to stare at the back of the 300 as it gets smaller and smaller.

 

dude your recon lost becaues its a utility and an auto and of course a smaller engine use common sense

 

Yup, in a straight line the Polaris will smoke a 300ex...easily. You're gonna have to step up to a 400ex for that.

Believe it or not, those Scramblers are pretty fast. I had one and it would jump a Banshee in a short distance. I then modded it a little bit and it would take the Banshee for quite a ways, but didn't have much top end at all.
