Im 11 And I Ride My 300EX Everyday And Im only 11. I Think It's Pretty Sad There Are Kids In There Teens that Are Rideing Mini's. No,Im Not Trying To Bash Or AnyThing Like That. I Just Think You Need To Step It Up A Nouch. I Might Be Getting A Worriar Because My 300ex Got Stolen Monday.

If you can ride that good on a 300EX, the next evolution for you should be the 400EX.

I had a banshee when i was 12 and then I couldent afford the money it went through on parts! So i sold it! Now i have a mojave! Nice little quad! But i need to get somthing different soon! Liek anouther banshee or a KX250

 

The cpsc was smoking something when they came up with these age recomendations. I have ridden everything from highly modified 250r's to p650's and never gotten hurt. my brother just started riding last summer, parents got him a scrambler 90. he's 5 and on a mini-MX track, he spanks my 9 year old cuz. I can respect their thinking, but kids are getting bigger and it is sometimes more dangurous to ride a quad to small for you. I'm 14 close to 6 foot, I'v had one bad wreck in my life, and guess what, it was on a quad to small for me [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

My daughter is 12, and is now riding my hand-me-down 400EX. This is a fully tricked out desert machine (Works suspension, widened, piped, etc.). She is big for here age though (she passes for 16), and she has been riding most of her life. I would have died to have ANYTHING to ride when I was 12!!
