Default Rode and raced a Z400 today.

I went riding with a buddy up north and he just got the Z400. We traded for a while. I noticed several things: 1: It's WAY smaller, it dang near felt like a mini quad. 2: Its so easy to wheely. 3: You feel like you have compleat control of the ATV, its so small you can put it where ever you want on the trail and it just goes. 4: It handles well. 5: The clutch is WAY easy to pull just close your hand and that's it. It feels the theres nothing connected.
It was pretty quick for a 400 but it did not hold up to the DS. ( Like I doubted it ) He held up till about 3rd gear, then he was back on 4th then WAY back on 5th. I was at 8K rpms and he was WAY far back. I really like the power, suspension and feel of the DS. I won't be changing bikes for a long time...

I'd have to agree; I haven't rode the Z400, but from all of the other machines I have rode etc, I'm sticking with the rock solid DS650. If there is one thing that I need to have be reliable in life, it is my toy.

I agree I rode the z and I liked my DS way better. I would love to get a z for the wife though.
