anybody else running a pami760? want to see what cooling upgrades you have done? mine ran hot sunday out on the ice, still running my stock cooling system with no improvments. ran hot after running it hard for about 10-20min. not sure if maybe my head gasket is bad?

Jeff,

Are you running radiator shrouds??? they help alot.

Also you may be able to runn a cooler thermostat,Engine ice, and a toggle switch on your fan.

thanks i did order shrouds and super cooler and water wetter today, doing a leak down test wed @ the dealer. today i warmed it up topped off the radiator reved it up watched for bubbles or cylinder pressure bleed back to the raditaor nothing, so i'm thinking the head gasket is ok, just want this sh*t to be over and ride the thing

Radiator shrouds will help ALOT, Before I put some on, My fan ran all the freaking time. Afterwards I ended up taking the fan off(didn't need it). Also running alky makes it run cooler also.

I also removed the rock shield from the radiator, since I only ride in the Sand I really dont need it.

It was running hot while ice racing? what was the air temp.? 30's? this dosen't sound like my 760, at Little Sahara in October (I think) ran to the top of the mountain several times, 500'-600' and never got over 200 even after the climbs

it was about 34degs out, jetting ok checked plugs good color, not sure if i should still do leak down, no back pressure thru radiator, but remember this track is big! wide open thru all 5 gears, one down shift back up to 8500-9000 for about 10plus laps. at what temp does the light come on?
