Default Sportsman 500 bottoming out

A good friend of mine has a sportsman. This guy is pretty big and he bottoms the front suspension constantly over minor obstacles.

What are some options for him?

Thanks

He must be REAL big because I am 235 lbs and neither of my quads bottom out even on jumps. But I do have new shocks all the way around.

I had the same problem with my SP400...front-end was way too squishy. If the struts aren't toast, tell him to try the front spring/pre-load adjuster kit from Progressive Suspension. Kit includes stiffer front springs and the adjuster so you can fine tune it to your needs. Dennis Kirk carries 'em or you can take a look at them at progressivesuspension.com. It costs about a bill and a half but it is worth every penny. I love mine...they stiffened up the front perfectly and reduced some of rollover in the corners. Also made carrying loads on the front rack a lot less of a pain in the a$$.

A cheaper way out would be to put HD springs up front. They're $30 from Dennis kirk, but if they are too stiff for your liking you're SOL.(Not the way I would go, but the choice is yours)
