Default URGENT** question about my Speed

Hi:

I just sold my Z-400 and bought a 03 Speed and I want to make some trial riding and go trought some deep rivers and some REALLY muddy races. Do you recommend me something so I can be more safe. I mean, that I don't get anything inside my machine? Plz explain me to do what you will suggest. ex: put the hose in the height of the air filter
and some dielectric grease?

DON'T KNOW PLZ HELP!!!!

While it's still new take some time and put the dielectric grease on ALL the connectors. This will keep them from getting corrosion on them. As far as moving the hoses up. I don't know, not much water in SoCal to worry about.

Default URGENT** question about my Speed

As far as mud,,,,No problem. Water and tube...Hose in height of the filter..as far as I know, there is no hose...I don't understand the question. I don't know of any atv that can do deep rivers.....I did 'em back in my 3-wheelin days with 200X...and trust me, they don't float. I learned very fast.

Please clarify questions. We will help you as much as we can........ Thanks

The tranny is vented through a hose that ends above the fuel pump, left front. I pulled it up from there and ziptied it next to the airbox. I think that is the only water concern. Grease is good.
