How high is the articulation on your AC?
#1
I just bought a lift kit for my AC 300, and was planning on getting larger tires.
I though I would measure what the articulation in stock form was before I started to modify it.
By articulation I mean keeping three out of the four wheels in contact with a flat surface while lifting the fourth wheel as high as possible.
I got 13 inches.
What is your ATV's articulation?

I don't know what an ACT is.
If IRS stands for Independant Rear Suspension, then that is what I have on my 2001 AC 300 4X4.
One other point, measure it while sitting on the ATV to make it a "real world" situation.
I ended up using a milk crate standing on it tall side to lift up the one wheel.

ACT Stands for Arctic Cat Technology. It is a straight axle that has a truck like suspention. Its great! To answer your question on articulation Seeing I have both ACT an IRS that they both are pretty good.

not sure yet about the amount of articulation , but its pretty good.. just wish they were softer springs for this thing , maybe someone will make some in the near future. it would be awesome on trails and the slow extra rough stuff, then just crank them up if your gonna ride more aggresive!

Nighthawk, you are totally correct.
So I installed my Moose lift kit (see my other post for results), but the articulation did not improve!!!
It is still 13 inches.
