HPD pipe, HPD clutch kit, and throw in a Uni-Filter. You'll be amazed at the difference.

I have a somewhat highly modded 2000 Tb. I went with HPD. They are a little more than others but thats what i went with. RCR has a whole speed kit for $325 it includes a pipe, silencer, clutching, airboxmod and jets plus free shipping. This is the most complete kit for the price and Rick Ritter is great to work with. The pipe works like wonders. I was amazed on the gains of just the pipe. If you get a pipe get a clutch kit to match. This will give the best performance. And if you want to go a little further Bubba 297 ported my cylinder and Wow what a difference. Any questions just ask.

Ok, I got a question.....
You say you went with the HPD but it sounds like you are indorsing the RCR kit.
Are both kits equal in quality / ease of installation?
HPD wants 325.00 for the pipe and 154.00 for the clutch kit while RCR gets 325.00 for the whole setup
Is the HPD worth the extra 154.00 plus shipping?

With the Ritter kit, you only get one clutch spring, which in my opinion, is a waste of time. With the HPD clutch kit, you get new springs (2), and new weights.

There is no comparison between the two pipes. I've had both. The HPD unit is top notch in every way.

I am not trying to bash Rick in any way. He sells both pipes, he is a great guy, very knowledgable about Polaris', and he will spend as much time on the phone with you as you need/want.

Give him a call.

You can get the HPD trailpipe with the no restriction race silencer for 260. But the silencer is loud and can pi$$ some people off. I guess I could say that there is no compairson to the HPD pipe BUT iI have heard good things about the RCR kit. Rick claims that his pipe will produce the same hp as the HPD stuff.
The agressive clutch kit is only $90.00. The $154.00 kit includes the helix. You really dont need the helix. So for roughly 360 you can get the HPD pipe, silencer, and agressive clutch kit. You will want to spend a little extra for the quiet silencer unless you dont mind the noise. You should not have to spend any more than $400 on a kit.
