banshee water problems

Default banshee water problems

i am a proud owner of a 1999 banshee. i recently added a few extras including fmf sst pipes,power core 2 silencers,kn jet kit,v force reeds and kn plus outwers filter .the problem is :
wherever i go riding and i have to pass a little bit of water, my banshee start to reev like crazy and i have to turn it off.can anyone tell me how to solve this problem whithout having to sacrifice going to water?

it does that when you ride by water?? or are you riding through it? i didn't quite follow what you were saying

Sounds like it gets excited around water. I'd say let the clutch out and hold on tight. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

On a different note it doesn't make sense. Unless your cables are rusty being that old and you might be getting moisture up in the housings. Other that that you've got me stumped. When you figure it you let me know.

excited- that's funny. i was thinking something along the same line though- except hit that water in 5th with it pinned.........
try to find somewhere your bike will get excited-mine likes topless bars-and try to unplug the tors unit and see if that will fix it. if you don't know where it is, its by the left front fender, mounted to the frame. it's a little black box with some wires running to it don't grab the coil while your bike is running-it's no fun. good luck and let us know if that fixes it.

if it doesn't- go to the topless bar anyways.
