Cranky Raptor carbs?

Cranky Raptor carbs?
I read in the shootout between the Raptor, Predator, and Z-400 that the Raptors carbs were cranky when doing a wheelie, what does this mean, does the bike stall or sputter? Does this happen when hill climbing?
