Cold weather riding
#2
Full GoreTex (neck to toe), fleece and long underwear underneath (layers). The key is to stay dry. Goretex gloves (as a shell) over ridin gloves.
Head sock under the helmet. Dry insulated boots (800 thinsulate at least) with wool/tech socks.
Also, always change clothes immediately after a ride.

its -2 here today and i was out on the lake and the only problem i got is my damn shield on my helmet keeps frosting up. well anyway just get a nice pair of snowmobiling bibs, and get some of those grabber hand warmers and put one in each glove and your good to go.

when I go out I go for: snowpants, long underwear or sweatpants or both, socks and waterproof boots, Shirt, turtleneck, flece or wool sweater, turtle flece/neckwarmer, thin hat or lycra under my helmet, helmet, winter gloves, make sure to let your quad warm up good before you hammer it
