Your right about that! Torque is what rips your arm out of their sockets not horsepower, Torque is also what gets you out of the hole.

Because all anyone wants to do is drag race, torque dosent help too much there. I would love to see a 30hp diesel quad though, imagine that, it would have 30 peak HP, but like 100ftlbs of torque at low RPMS. Say, bye bye chain. Be the ultimate mud machine, or hill climb for that matter..... Belt drive (new 700 kawi thingy) makes torque obsolete though, it keeps you in the perfect rev range at all times to haul butt.

Think id rather have a lightning, may only have 500ftlbs of torque, but it has 500hp to match [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] God I wish I had one, be driving around town and decimate a vette in my truck for kicks.
I did drive a flat bed monster dually dodge diesel one time, it was quick but right when it felt like it was about to start hauling but I hit redline.
