The Trail Tech Panoram Speedo/Computer Provides several functions including Current Speed, Average Speed, Top Speed, Distance, Overall Mileage, Accumulated Riding Time, Clock and Maintenance Reminder . Theres even a back Lit display for night riding and the battery life is up to 1 1/2 years. I havent got one for my self but i've riden a 400ex that has and its pretty neat for trails and keeping up with regular maintanance.

About the backlit display.........

It only stays on for a few seconds at a time. I wish they would have made it so it would stay on constantly if you chose to make it do so. It is kind of a pain in the but to press the button to make the light come on while you are trying to ride at night. It is awesome to have, I wouldnt let that stop you from getting it!

I have the Trail Tech along with the billet holder that replaces the flimsy plastic unit that houses the idiot lights. The holder alone was well worth the cost, as it really looks good. I've never really used anything on the Trail tech other than the speedometer and odometer. It was very easy to install.

I installed one on all the family's quads. It installed pretty easy and I got it down to about 45 minutes from start to finish. I did a general review and have some installed pictures on my web site. If you want to see them, let me know. All in all, I would recommend it.

trailtech is making some new computers (supposed to be out late this year). One of the computers is speed/tach only with "always-on" backlight. the other one has temperature/altitude/compass as well as all the current functions.

the speed/tach unit is supposed to be interchangable with their current computer.

Ronin223, where is your website? Can you buy just the bracket to hold the idiot lights without the computer part?

Thanks

docdave22,

You can check out the website here.

Look in the photoalbums section. It should be easy to find from there.
