I just got home yesterday and the closures are still in effect...I droped in on the hills through the dunes at night and found baron riding spots...it was so weird to not have comp to go to at night....F the BLM, rangers are starting to get huge ego's and attitudes and so I say F the BLM

I agree that there are some major attitudes out there....kind of like the situational power of turds behind the counter at the DMV

Myself and the Craycraft boys were the only Night Crawlers that I knew of at Wash 11.

We took two night rides. One of which was recorded on the helmet camera.

GPS? I use the time tested method of stopping getting off the quad removing my helmet and saying where are we? Step two is open a beer, step three figure where you are by lights of the washes and Brawley, step four is drink a beer, step five you simply start all over. As much fun as it is to know where you are and where you are headed, it is more if you havn't the slightest idea.

Raptorjay,

I'm with ya ! Some of my best night rides have, and still are, mysteries.......never really figured out where we were or how we got there but ended up back at camp with empty coolers !?

Yep - those kind of "adventures" normally suck at the time but make the best riding stories ! It's why ya go back ! We popped into Algodones once a while back but these days it could be a little dicey with all the Border Patrol folks running loose.
