I have a oil cooler on my new trailboss 325. I will start it up and ride it for about 10 min. and then shut it off. I will go back and turn the key and the other switch on and the cooling fan will come on and say it is hot!!! Then i will start it up and it will shut off. Then if i ride for 5 min. and then stop and let it idle the light will flicker real fast and the fan will go on and dies and go on and dies just for a few sec. Then i will just tap the throttle and it will stop. I think there is a short in the sensor wire. What do you guys think? Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks Jerrod

I have a SP 500 but had a similar problem. The fan would work sometimes. I thought it was a short but turned out to be the sensor mounted in the radiator. Replaced it and have had no problems since.
