Blasters are the best "bang for the buck" atv. Anything older than the 03 has the crappy rear drum breaks, and thats about the only downfall. They are a very economical sport quad and are quick. Make sure tho that you replace those big ballon tires (if ur buying a new one). If u get some 4 ply 20 inch tires on the rear, it will improve handling and grip by lots. Blasters are usually ment for small people, but Im sure there will be others that will disagree. If you are over 5 foot 9, Id say look around for something else.
other than that, have fun and be safe..

The best thing about it is the motor ;and the brakes on the new ones......The worst thing is the tires, and that it is too small overall(short and skinny).....

Blasters are great for smaller riders.
These days you are better off spending $ on something else.
Just my opinion.

Just about the size.... I am 6'2" at 160 lbs... i love my blaster, but with my weight the shocks need help. I am soon going to invest in some Works front shocks.

if you'll notice almost everyone with a positive response owns a blaster. i have owned a blaster and i outgrew it when i was ten. the suspension sucks and the motor is weak, they just don't have the power. and besides you can get a nice used 250r(excellent suspension) or banshee(awesome power) for about what a blaster cost. and anyone that says they can smoke a banshee on a blaster they're talkin about a blaster with alot of money in it against a stock banshee. if you want something fast that you can soup up then get a shee or a 250r. blasters are great beginner bikes but once youv'e had something else you'll never and i do mean never buy a blaster again. don't make a mistake listen to people that have had a variety of atvs because anyone that has only had a blaster will think it is the best thing in the world, such as i did when i was a kid, and you may be led in the wrong direction.
THIS IS JUST MY OPINION DON'T TAKE THIS THE WRONG WAY BLASTER BOYS AND GIRLS.
