You guys are still whinin about FSW and the whoops, so here ya go..
All you guys that are whining about the whoops, maybe you should have paid more attention to this post
I tried to give you an idea of the whoops and the need to dial in your suspension
I guess you guys dont know that your suspension can be dialind in (yes there is adjustment) Or you wouldnt be here crying that you cant get through the whoops( medical injuries not included)
This was billed as a drag race, not a DYNO charts race.. Which in turn means you have to actually ride and tune your bike to the changing conditions(But you big time racers should know that) Thats why i put up the vids, to you other guys could get an idea that you WILL have to do some suspension work. To bad there were like 98 people that looked at the above post, but apparently everybody was either A. Not sure what they were looking at.. 2. Figured it would not be a big deal. 3. Lazy.. Im going with 3. Why have adjustable suspension with 11+ inches of travel, if your not going to use it.. Wasted money. I suppose its easier to whine on the computer than it is to dial in your bike..
Sheesh!

i knew there were going to be whoops. had no problem with that. i told everyone there i wasn't running any classes before even going to the hill.
all of us from the from the trailer park came to you ball park and never been on any hill or whooped up starting line.
i only came to FSW's to see how glamis was. i was tring to go durning roost fest but couldn't get the bike running in time.
if any of you guys come to snakehunt at LS we will see who does the whinning. i already see a whinning post on the bomb forum about "i had a shorter swingarm" and let slower bikes win.
we all drove around 20 hours so why can't some of you guys come run us at snakehunt? then the dialing in will be yours.
and why would we want to take a chance at breaking something going though the whoops to win FSW's? sparks won and noone wants to except it. make excuses of how he did.

I guess whining is a bit strong and I apologize. I do see your point about not having ever ran whoops before, so they can be a bit intimidating. I guess is what Im getting at is there more to a race than just motor. As you can see in the vids 9 and 10, Sand PIG has way more motor, but his suspension setup a year ago was not on, so i could take him through the whoops and up the hill, but you can clearly see he has more motor. If Olds would have been longer, he would have got me. Point being less motor+dialed suspension = win
Air Raptor, I did beat Kingraptor on Saturday, off the bottle, but both him and Hargrove beat me Friday(me, off the trailer so to speak) and i didnt want any chance of getting beat by 3 different 4 strokes that weekend, especially since I was talking trash! LOL

Roostking,
I had NO problems running through the whoops, The reason I did not compete in the races, was because everytime I ran the hill, at the top my carburator would be GUSHING fuel out, and I had pecked on it so much the day before I put a hole in the bowl. I tried and tried to fix,and adjust the needle, but never could get it right.
I was so frustrated at my quad by Sunday, I knew competitive racing wasn't a smart idea.
The whoops did come into play for some, and it pissed me off(and still does), that thier was NO effort to make it alittle more accomidating for the guys that were BEGGED to come race at FSW(and drove 1100 miles +) and then tell them TUFF $HIT!! you have to run the whoops or sit out.(bullsh!t) there was a decent place to run EVERYBODY just 20 yds away,Banshee Hill.
I have experience running full throttle through whoops, and made it through several times without a problem, BUT.. I also (Twice) went over the handle bars(way over), and with luck I saved it. why take the chance if wasn't nessassary?????????thats all I'm saying.
Bigger.
