Default probably a stupid question??

It is because one of the carbs has the job of providing fuel to two (2) intake ports. The Raptor has five ports, three intake and two exhuast. Hope that answered your question.

Default probably a stupid question??

Since the Banshee is a twin cylinder the fuel supplied will be the same
for each cylinder.

Default probably a stupid question??

I thought it was due to different intake track lengths. Some of the old Honda XR350s (and other bikes)had twin carbs with different jet sizes. I thought the air velocity was different between the two carbs due to different lengths from the valves to the filter. The venturi principle says with a slow velocity, you pull less fuel, so that one will need a bigger jet. I may be wrong though.
