Yah the frame started to crack on the right hand side at the sub frame mount...The other day I joked how I have replaced everything except the front wheel bearings...guess I was wrong...anyone else done the same.

the dealer fixed it before they sold it...if you buy a new one go with the 02 model
it has round tubing instead of of the square 01

Other than being square or round, is there any other differences between the '01 and '02 Raptor subframe or mounts. I know the little black finned thingy (rectifier?) is mounted behind the brake light on the '01 and in front of the coolant res. on the '02 (limiting shock res. placement). Anything else I am missing? Thanks for the insight!

I heard that the new sub-frames were steel as opposed to aluminum....any truth there?
