RCR pipe on 330 trailboss
#1
Can I put a RCR pipe (topend, midrange or lowend) on my 330 TB, while using my stock silencer ? Will I still have the 8 hp I'am supposed to gain ? Will it be louder ? Has anyone tried this ? What's the difference between a plain clutch spring and a stock spring ? AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST: WILL I REALY FEEL THE DIFFERENCE? Thanks for your advice to a french " quadeur " who cannot get any information on all the stuff you guys get in the States.

You will notice a huge difference with the pipe. I dont know if RCR makes a pipe for it yet but if you talk to rick ritter he might be able to make one. It will be louder unless you use a quiter silencer or if your stock one fits. I am using a stock 400 silencer with my pipe and it sounds real good.

THE THREE TYPES OF PIPES YOU SPOKE OF (TOP, MID, LOW) ARE FOR 2 STROKES. A FOUR STROKE PIPE IS JUST A PIPE. (sorry, caps lock was on) The shape of the 2 stroke pipe determines where the power is distributed. (rpm range) You won't get nearly as much from a full aftermarket pipe on a 4 stroke as you will a 2 stroke.

Thanks for the data on the pipes, some deception I thought it was going to be easy!
Anyway, could you tell me what your modifications did for your 325 and if your muffler is louder than stock.

The mods I did pepped it up quite a bit, and yes, the muffler is quite a bit louder thatn stock, but not overwhelming. Aaen carries a weld on spark arrestor that is supposed to tone it down quite a bit. All of the mods you see listed in my sig were barely $200 total. Check out Aaen Performace
