Anyone know if this will work on a scrambler 400 with a pipe? or will it be to hard to jet?

I would'nt see why not. The 38mm tmx and 38mm flatsides work very well with the 400,s.

my brother runs a Micro Sprint with a CR250 engine on alcohol, we did run a 38TMX Mikuni and burnt Pistons like crazy now it's got a FTZ Kekin 39 we havn't burnt one yet. I would stay away from Mikuni unless you want to replace pistons all the time. Get a 39 PWK Kehin

the 39PWK seems to be most people's choice for perfomance carb, but I know of several people running the 38mm Mikuni without any problems. Jetting is just a time consuming thing sometimes.Bubba
