I purchase a Manco 50cc atv for my son. He raced it last year but he only got fifth out of six. We need to go faster. Is there anything i can do to the cdi or do i have to replace it? drrinc.com says i don't need to upgrade the pipe. Does anyone know for sure? I know it is one of those her chee motors and it appears very similar to eton, xtreme, and others.

 

If you could post a link to the manco site or somewhere I could look at this quad, then it is very possible you search could be over.

Big Daddy, Look on your CDI, if it has a green wire loo[ing in and out, cut it.

Big Daddy, You got some bogges info. THe pipe is the biggest limiter to performance on these machines.
