Default Question about the left eccentric lock

Hey I just bought my 1999 trail blazer 250 and while tightening my chain I realized that the top part of the left ecentric lock has been broken off. I am kind of short on cash so is it ok for me to ride with it like that for now? DO I even need to replace it in the future? If I do fix it then how much will it cost? Thanks in advance for any help!

Default Question about the left eccentric lock

Is it broke off where the actual bolt head goes, or where it meets the swingarm? It's not really good either way to ride with it broke, but you can have it welded if the weld is broke, or have a tab welded to it if the ear is broke off. All you need is 35ft/lbs to keep it tight.Bubba
